Integrated Solid Waste Management at South Eastern Railway Headquarters, Gardenreach, Kolkata
Proud to be a part of South Eastern Railway for this integrated project initiated by them. SER has installed a 1000 kg capacity XWM biogas plant, developed by Xeon waste Managers (XWM) based in Pune, the EnergyBin is converting organic waste into renewable energy. This bio gas plant- EnergyBin helps to generate bio gas per day which is utilized in cooking application. And it reduces the the use of LPG by almost 80%. SER now processes the waste at its source and this has also reduced dumping of food waste at Dhapa landfills.
